A little taste of what's coming…

Imagine 8 days on the island of Zakynthos, in a Greek villa perched on a cliff with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea. A sun-drenched art studio. A private chef. A boat trip to the iconic Shipwreck Beach. Olive groves, whitewashed stone and golden light.

And in the middle of it all: you, at the easel – painting intuitively and abstractly, moving from chaos to calm, layer by layer, with me guiding you every step of the way.

No experience needed. All levels are warmly welcome – whether this is your very first painting or you've painted for years, you'll travel home with finished canvases you're proud of, and a braver, freer way to paint.

Meet your instructor

Hi, I'm Hege! 💛 I'm a Norwegian abstract artist and painting instructor with over 25 years at the easel. I've taught more than 2,000 painters – from complete beginners to professional artists – and hosted painting retreats in Spain and France. My signature method, "Magical Paintings," guides you through creating abstract art intuitively: from chaos to calm on the canvas.

The best thing I know? Watching someone discover their own expression – and next summer, I'd love for that someone to be you, under the Greek sun. ☀️🎨

Do I need painting experience?
Not at all! The retreat welcomes all levels, including complete beginners. I adjust my guidance to exactly where you are.

Where and when is the retreat?
On the island of Zakynthos, Greece – June 24 to July 1, 2027.

How many spots are there?
Only 16 painters. Small group, lots of individual guidance – and spots are expected to go fast.

When does booking open?
Very soon! VIP list members get the booking link first – hours before everyone else.
